Trailer Template for Cubase 14
A trailer session,
already built.
A Cubase 14 project laid out for trailer music: instrument tracks routed to stems, sections pre-EQed, the mixer balanced, and a structure already in place with production notes on it. Open it, load the libraries you own and start writing instead of building.

Start writing.
Most of the work in a trailer cue happens before a note is written: building the track list, routing the stems, setting up the sends, getting a rough mix that does not fall apart when the brass comes in. This template is that work, done. 67 tracks, colour-coded and foldered into 13 groups that are also the stems.
Two guide tracks run across the top with the arrangement already marked out, and the production notes sit on the timeline where you need them rather than in a manual: build the intro, full melody and chord progression, add more layers, more epic and mighty, give everything you got.
Everything processing-wise is stock Cubase. There is nothing else to buy to make the template work as delivered, and nothing that will load as missing on a machine that does not have your plugin collection.
Thirteen stem groups
Every track sits in a folder that is also its stem bus, from strings and brass down to hits, whooshes and risers, so a delivery bounce is an export rather than an hour of rebuilding routing under deadline.
A mix that holds
Sections and instruments are pre-EQed and the mixer is balanced across the session, so the first thing you hear is close, not a wall of everything at zero.
The arrangement mapped out
Guide tracks mark Intro, Maintheme, Bridge, Gap and Climax & Outro across the timeline, each with a note on what that section has to do. You write into a shape instead of staring at an empty project.
An example to read
A main theme sketch is included in the project so you can see how the routing, the sections and the structure are meant to be used before you write your own.
What you need.
Cubase 14
The project was saved from Cubase 14.0.5 and opens in Cubase 14. Earlier versions of Cubase cannot open a project saved by a later one, so this is a hard requirement rather than a recommendation. All processing uses Cubase’s own plugins, so nothing else has to be installed for the template itself to load.
Your own libraries
No sample libraries are included. The instrument tracks are set up for Kontakt 7, SINE Player, Repro-1 and Nexus, and the tracks are named for the libraries they were written against: Audio Imperia Nucleus, Keepforest Devastator, Performance Samples, Heavyocity Damage 1 and 2 and Junkie XL Brass among them. Any track whose library you do not own loads empty and can be pointed at what you do own; the routing, EQ and balance around it stay as they are.

Ready for commercial work.
Use the template on your own personal and commercial cues. Reselling or redistributing the project file in any form is prohibited. Read the terms.
The example main theme sketch inside the project is covered by the same terms: play it, change it, build on it. There is no per-cue or per-seat limit, and nothing expires.
